001 - Jai Maa Sharada

I have always had a desire to learn the pious 'Sharada' script - read and write. I feel truly blessed getting the opportunity to learn the divine script from 'Core Sharada Team' foundation. The script is truly mesmerizing especially when one starts to learn the basics of the language vowels, consonants, numerals and then take it a step forward in forming simple words, conjuncts, sentences, paragraphs and gradually dive into learning to identify, read and write the centuries old handwritten shlokas, holy scriptures, Religious texts from Purans, Vedas etc. 

Personally for me, I am fascinated by individual alphabets formations, how intriguing, complex, bold and beautiful these are when those are written in ink with pen and paper. Now-a-days the electronic media and facilities are abundant however, it gives me completely different feeling that I cannot express in words - how the ink flows from the pen (qalam) creating impressions on blank canvas, sometimes a stroke gets perfectly drawn and sometime not so in harmony. 

I keep trying on a daily basis - started with writing the divine 'OM', both in Sharada as well as Devanagari scripts, displayed below...

With the grace and blessing of Mata Sharada (Mata Saraswati), I plan to record and share the composition-writing of alphabets, vowels, consonants, word formations, simple sentences and some basic shloka's, religious texts. I hope this can be useful for our younger generations who seek to know more and would like to stay connected to their roots.
